Position Overview:
As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities while maintaining the highest standards of dignity and privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Hygiene Support:
Assist patients with essential hygiene activities, including: - Bathing
- Brushing teeth
- Using the bathroom
- Dressing
- Meal Assistance:
Help patients during meal times by: - Feeding those who require assistance
- Ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Linen Management:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by: - Regularly changing and cleaning linens
- Vital Signs Monitoring:
Monitor and document vital signs, including: - Blood pressure
- Heart rate
- Temperature
- Report any concerning symptoms to the Registered Nurse (RN) promptly.
- Bedpan Management:
Provide and maintain bedpans, ensuring: - Patient comfort and dignity during use
- Mobility Assistance:
Aid patients with mobility challenges by: - Helping them move around the facility safely
- Supporting them in exercises or activities as directed
Qualifications and Skills:
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and dignity
- Patience and compassion in handling patient needs
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not mandatory
