Are you a skilled and driven steel fixer ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an enterprising steel fixer to become an integral part of our dynamic construction team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building solid foundations, from interpreting detailed engineering plans to executing precision work with hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities For Steel Fixer:
- Interpretation of Engineering Plans: Read and analyze construction and engineering drawings to determine the layout and required materials.
- Setting Up Work Areas: Prepare and organize work areas, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available for efficient execution.
- Cutting and Shaping Steel: Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh, following the specific dimensions and designs.
- Installation of Steel Framework: Lay out and position steel bars, mesh, rods, and other reinforcements with accuracy and precision.
- Hoisting and Positioning Steel: Safely lift and place heavy steel components into the designated positions, ensuring proper alignment.
- Fitting Supports: Install spacers, supports, and additional reinforcements as needed to ensure the stability and strength of the structure.

- Technical Expertise: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and work accordingly.
- Physical Fitness: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and at various heights.
