We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant School Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our students, staff, and visitors. As a vital part of our school community, you will be entrusted with maintaining a secure and peaceful environment that promotes learning and safety. Your role will be key to safeguarding the premises, enforcing safety protocols, and responding swiftly to any emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities for School Security:
- Premises Monitoring:
Actively patrol and monitor all areas of the school grounds, including hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, parking lots, and any other designated spaces to ensure the environment remains safe.
Keep an eye on suspicious activities or behavior and report any potential security threats immediately. - Access Control & Visitor Management:
Ensure all visitors to the school are properly screened. Verify identification and check credentials upon entry, making sure that only authorized individuals are granted access.
Control entry points, ensuring that students and staff can enter and exit securely without any breaches.
Monitor the campus to prevent unauthorized access during school hours and after school activities. - Emergency Response & Incident Management:
Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies, such as accidents, medical issues, fire alarms, or security breaches.
Provide first aid if necessary or assist in evacuations, ensuring the safety of everyone on the premises.
Report incidents and emergencies to the appropriate authorities and school administration for follow-up actions. - Rule Enforcement & Behavior Monitoring:
Enforce school rules and regulations concerning safety and security. Ensure students follow safety guidelines, especially in common areas and during breaks.
Prevent and address any disruptive or unsafe behavior to maintain a calm and controlled environment.
Work closely with school staff to maintain discipline and handle any safety violations in a professional and timely manner. - Communication & Coordination:
Maintain clear communication with school security administration, staff, and local authorities.
Provide detailed reports of any incidents or concerns, and work as a team to resolve ongoing security matters.
Participate in regular security drills and training to stay prepared for various scenarios.
