Key Responsibilities

- Install, wire and connect electrical systems including distribution boards, conduits, cables, lighting, power outlets and earth systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and single line diagrams
- Test and commission electrical installations in accordance with project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on site or on operational facilities
- All works shall be carried out in accordance with DEWA regulations, IEC standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Liaise with MEP supervisors, engineers and other trades on site
- Keep detailed records of work done, materials used and any observations on site.
- At all times adhere to and enforce health, safety and PPE requirements
- Assist in the preparation of as-built markups as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Trade certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational qualification
- 3-5 years of practical experience as an electrician preferably in UAE construction or FM
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Knowledge of DEWA regulations and electrical codes in the UAE
- UAE electrician trade licence is an advantage.
- Able to work on site and reliable and safety conscious
- Basic English speaking skills
